School Information

Welcome to Marian Vian Primary School. Here, we aim to show you the energy, enthusiasm and determination of the children and all the adults that help to make our school community a happy and successful place to learn in. At Marian Vian, we aim to develop successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.

The school is set in extensive grounds which are well-used, particularly for sporting activities and outdoor learning, including a designated Bushcraft area, woodland trail and a wildlife pond garden and classroom. These areas are timetabled and add considerably to the children’s curriculum experiences. In addition, we have a media room, music room and nature room. 

We have Wi-Fi, Laptops and IPads as part of our programme to further develop computing and technology in our school.

Foundation Stage and Years 1 and 2 together make up the Infants. In each year group there are three classes of thirty children. 
Years 3 to 6 continue as three parallel classes per year group and make up the Juniors. Class sizes may rise to thirty-two in these year groups.
