Welcome to the Marian Vian Parent and Teacher Association (PTA).  It's great to have you as part of our community.

It's thanks to people like you who share our passion for helping children learn in a fun and rewarding way that the PTA has already managed to raise many thousands of pounds, with much more to come, we hope.

Every parent or carer of a child at Marian Vian Primary School is automatically a member of our Parent and Teacher Association.  We are a registered charity and our main objective is to operate a successful and supportive PTA to enhance the educational experience and future opportunities for all our children.  We primarily do this by organising a number of events throughout the school calendar.

All of the parents and teachers who support the PTA do so voluntarily and we are always looking for new members who would like to offer their time, skills and enthusiasm to our fantastic organisation..

Our aims are

• To be a voice for all parents (to strengthen children's education)
• To provide credible, well researched and passionate support
• To enable our school to achieve more and serve our community
• To help our children have even more fun during their time at school

Over the last two years we have raised in excess of £50,000.  Every single penny of all funds raised has been ploughed straight back into the school.  Through close collaboration with the Head Teacher and Leadership Team we have funded or contributed to a wide range of resources, extra-curricular activities and initiatives.
